Project A – Book Design "Inner Knots"
This book design project addresses the growing number of psychological issues faced by modern individuals. In response to the fast-paced lifestyle and mounting pressures of contemporary society, the design focuses on problems that urgently need recognition and resolution. Themes such as procrastination, obsession, dependency, depression, vulnerability, and the phenomenon of the “adult baby” are explored in depth.
Through the language of visual art, each issue is presented in a way that evokes its emotional impact. The book serves as the primary medium to amplify these issues, using powerful graphics and creative formats to draw attention to problems often overlooked. In doing so, it encourages early awareness and proactive solutions in a high-speed world.
The book features exposed spine binding (naked spine with visible stitching) and comes with a user manual. Its tone is light and engaging, with numerous interactive elements such as fold-out pages, tearable sections, and scratch-off areas—designed to make the experience lively and immersive. These playful interactions are intended to support and encourage individuals entangled in such psychological struggles, urging them to face their issues with courage and find constructive ways to overcome them.
